With capital of US $ 3 million, CAKAP is ready for expansion

Cakap has secured the latest investment of US $ 3 million in the Series A + round. This round was led by the Heritas Venture Fund, as well as participation from other investors such as Strategic Year Holdings, Investidea Ventures, and Prasetia Dwidharma.

During the pandemic that hit this year, Cakap has experienced a 10-fold increase in the number of students since the beginning of this year. When compared to last year the number of students has increased by 30 times.

Currently Cakap is developing two main products. For the children’s market, Cakap For Kids will soon be launched.

Online English learning products and in-person interactions for children aged 4-12 years. Another focus is to deepen Cakap Upskill, an online training with two-way interaction for a wide range of learning topics, such as marketing and subjects related to informatics.

Cakap plans to use this investment fund to strengthen the quality of its employees, accompanied by technology development and business expansion throughout Indonesia.
